"The Origin of Love" according to Trask and Plato/"El origen del amor" según Trask y Platón

Let's start with Hedwig's initial ideas about sex, gender and sexuality: the speech of Aristophanes in Plato's Symposium. Do we really have those few options? What about trangender and bisexuality? One thing is certain: Hedwig's conclusion undoubtedly queers this mythology (Hsu 2007).

Empecemos con las ideas iniciales de Hedwig sobre el sexo, el género y la sexualidad: el discurso de Aristófanes en El banquete de Platón. ¿Realmente tenemos esas pocas opciones? ¿Qué pasa con el transgénero y la bisexualidad? Una cosa es cierta: la conclusión de Hedwig indudablemente "queeriza" esta mitología (Hsu 2007).
